E swaps healthier salvage for a worn component of the same type and size when it has no children attached; otherwise it uses a free mount. Protect your core. Fit at least two tires. Keep power supply above demand. On touch screens, use the two sticks to drive and aim, the symbol buttons to fire or salvage, and drag workshop parts onto glowing mounts.
